Jim Ryder of the wrecking crew recognized Mary Salcedo for helping out at a luncheon for three-hundred people. Jim’s sister also helped out at this event. No good deed goes unpunished. Mary was fined $25. Gil Stromsoe was also hit with a $25 fine for having served as treasurer for 15 years (on and off) and the privilege of occupying the office space next to none other than the fine master, Jim Ryder. Tom Miles was recognized for a newspaper article about him noting that he’s a doctor, a father and polio fighter. Tom was fined $20 when he seemed unaware of the article and its contents under questioning from the fine master. Finally Richard Schulhof was fined $35 for something about a “cobra” at the Arboretum.
