1. Dick Martinez announced that the school desk project was a success. The desks were donated by Montera College and the Tijuana Rotary located an orphanage that could use them. The orphanage director was very grateful for the donation and said that they will be used in their classrooms.
  2. Monday Night Football on Halloween at Paul Kalemkiarian’s house. Mike Ojeda asked all who were interested to sign up at the meeting.
  3. Sunday, Nov. 6: Walk for a Cure for Juvenile Diabetes at Dodger Stadium. Join Team Rotary headed by Mike Ojeda.
  4. CNA honors their “Best of the Year” recipient at Almansor Park at 11:30 next Thursday, Nov. 3. See Mary Salcedo for details.
  5. Arcadia Football, Friday, Nov. 4. The club has been invited to Arcadia H.S. to see the game. Contact Andy Bundesmann if you can attend.
  6. Fall Harvest, Sunday, November 6. Partners in Rotary is putting on this party for the Red Badgers and significant others, but all are welcome. It will be from 3 to 6 PM at the Monrovia Tennis Club, 158 N. Sunset, Monrovia.
  7. Theater Night at Arcadia H.S., Thursday, Nov. 17. A spaghetti dinner is being planned before the performance of Alfred Hitchkock’s comedy “39 Steps”. Please let Mike Ojeda know if you can attend.
