1. Ashley Andrews announced the next social event. It will be held Saturday, August 10th, at the Arboretum at 5:30. The Pasadena Pops Orchestra will perform, and cost will be just $16 per person. Contact Ashley if you can attend.

2. Rosie Mares attended the International Convention in Portugal and presented the club with two club flags she acquired while there. One was from the Rotary Club of Pasadena, Texas, and the other from the Rotary Club of Whiteville, Virginia.

3. Pres. Mimi presented Mary Salcido with the Rotarian of the Month certificate in recognition of all she has done for the club, including chairing the Salute to Seniors luncheon, the Christmas Party that supports her orphanage, and membership development. Mary is currently on a leave of absence.
