1. Larry Callaham announced the upcoming meeting on Friday, Feb. 22. The program will be the Dan Stover Music Contest and the 4-Way Speech Contest, as well as the mini-grants to students and teachers. It will be held at Arcadia High School, with dinner starting at 5:30 and the program at 6:30. Dinner will be a Taco Bar served by the same caterer as last year. We will be DARK for lunch that day.
  2. Rosie Mares gave us details about David Knight’s concert. It will be on April 7th from 3 to 5 PM with an optional dinner afterward, at the Panda Inn. The concert will be held at the Arroyo Pacific School, and tickets are $45 each. There is a limit of 100 people.
  3. Pres. Dolphin asked us to mark June 1st on our calendars. That will be our Monte Carlo Night with food catered by the Derby.
  4. Front Runner at the Santa Anita Racetrack: Tony Parille is the one to sign up with and get your tickets from for March 8, 2019 – one of the most entertaining luncheons of the year. We will be dark at the Embassy Suites that day.
  5. Field of Honor – Sponsors wanted. Make your checks out to The Arcadia Rotary Foundation, to be able to write it off; or you can pay it along with your quarterly dues as a business expense..?
  6. Wheelchair Donation:  Isabel donated a chair, in her husband’s name,  to Dick Martinez’s extremely worthwhile Tijuana Project.
  7. Monthly Board Meeting – 2/13/2019 – 6 PM at the Chamber of Commerce. Please attend if you have thoughts or comments regarding the Rule of 85, wherein meals are not charged to certain senior members, when they don’t attend meetings.
