Bruce McCallum is the newest VIP in Arcadia:  VIPS, that is, an Arcadia Police Department Volunteer program.  According to Bruce, his qualifications are a good driving record and passing an FBI investigation.  Clearly the FBI didn’t talk with any of his Rotary compatriots, but at least he doesn’t carry a gun (although there is some suspicion that he carries one bullet in his shirt pocket).  He is expecting his badge any minute and was fined $50 for his new position of authority.

Alliteration is the name of the game at the Arcadia School District’s blog “Back to School: Blazes, Bugs … etc.”  Superintendent Joel Shawn was recognized for $50 for knowing the difference between alliteration and onomatopoeia.

Just as the Finemasters were exiting the podium, Finemaster Geoff Tookey’s cell phone rang … and he answered it while standing at the podium.  President Imy promptly fined him $50 for his flaunting of the Rotary meeting cell phone rules.
