The Finemasters gave Jack Pan every opportunity to reduce his fine by confessing before they recognized him.  He tried to use the occasion of 4,000 scouts camping at Bonelli Park to get out of the fine, but to no avail.  The tidbit they shared, along with a fine of $150, was Jack’s promotion to Field Director with the Boy Scouts of America.  He is planning to stay in our area; we wish him success in his new endeavors.

Dong Chang was recognized for $100, the going rate for a new grandchild in Arcadia Rotary.  No further details ensued, so you’ll have to ask Dong to find out if he has been blessed with a grandson or granddaughter.

One of our Red Badgers, Ali Khosroabady, is getting married next week.  The Finemasters agreed that getting married and joining Arcadia Rotary in one year is a lot to contend with, but that didn’t stop the fine of $100.  Congratulations, Ali and Karin!

Finemaster Geoff Tookey fined himself $50 for mistakenly recognizing Kathy Householder last week as new President of the Icebreakers (better known as the Red Badgers).  He corrected his mistake by fining Rosie Mares $50, since she is actually the Icebreakers’ new leader.
