Let’s Recap! 4/26/24 The Matching Grant project of $10,000 to provide state of the art hearing aids to elementary school children in Tijuana , Mexico is ready to be implemented in Tijuana on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at 10:AM. This MG is being funded by the Rotary Clubs of Arcadia, Sierra Madre with matching funds from our District 5300. These are your Rotary dollars at work.
The Tijuana Rotarians have screened the first ten recipients of the hearing aids and the others will be fitted at a later date. How many others we will be able to fit depends on whether a child can get by with one devise or requires two. Our job there will only be to observe, and provide a status report to Rotary International on the project.

Depending on the schedules of those attending, the group will leave the night before or leave early morning on the 29nth. After the fittings, we will be hosted by the Tijuana Rotary Club at their regular weekly meeting starting at 2:00PM.
