With the change of leadership we have been seeking ways to keep our meetings interesting, informative and fun.  Eric’s team is working hard on program, and we are off to a great start.   But we also looked at every aspect of the meeting to make sure we deliver for our members.  To this end we are exploring musical options including varying our accompanists, karaoke, sing-a-long video clips, duets, guest singers and even bringing Ernie Jensen and his accordion out from hiding.

Our next meeting will be our first themed lunch.  Pat and Allen have worked with the catering management to change our room layout, change the menu and decorate to our theme.  We want to encourage everyone to attend and to participate.

The Social Committee met last Friday and is well on the way to laying out social activities for the Rotary year.

NEXT MEETING, August 7:   Wear a Hawaiian shirt or outfit and join in the songs and activities.

SUNDAY,  August 9:  Rock and Roll Concert in Sierra Madre’s Memorial Park.  6-8pm (Come early for parking and a good spot on the lawn).
