Arcadia High School – Future Businesses of America: Lori Huisken and Larry Callaham are organizing for the Group, business people who are willing to give an hour of their time, to discuss starting up a business and the necessary elements to keep it running. Rise Against Hunger- Arcadia High School. Goal to pack 30 thousand meals. First Shift 7:30 At Arcadia High School, second shift at 9:30.
Meals to Save Lives – John Wilson aggressively got members to pledge to give to save lives in the Bahamas. Make checks out to the Arcadia Rotary Foundation. $165 minimum packs 500 meals, to actually save lives.
Fort Rotary – Restoration Project – We need to raise big money to restore the fort to its former glory. The Arcadia Chinese Society has agreed to donate a sizable sum to get us started. We will need money and labor to get’r done.
Red Badgers – Ashley announced First Friday Club at Any Time Fitness 5:30 PM Friday, get together. Check with Ashley Andrews.
Canine Unit – TG announced they had raised enough money, with Arcadia Rotary’s help, to purchase another canine unit ( large money ). There will be an event celebrating this, Saturday, October 19, 2019, at the Arcadia Community Center. The event is sold out.
