Arcadia Rotary Day at the Races will be on 03/20/2020 at Santa Anita Race Track. Tony Parille is taking sign ups at the club meeting. The club will be dark at the Embassy Suites that day.
Teri Muse and Yvonne Flint announced that the “Together We Read” book drive will be held at Westfield Mall on 03/21/2020. We need members to donate books for this worthwhile event. We also need members to sign up to sort books, apply a Rotary sticker in each book and read to the children from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Sign ups are taken at the club meeting.
Mike Real announced that the Wine Tasting event hosted by Paul Kalemkiarian will be held on Wednesday 04/01/2020 at Wine of the Month Club located at 320 W. Chestnut Avenue, Monrovia, CA. The date was changed from 03/18/2020 to 04/01/2020. The cost is $40/person and is limited to 30 people. Signs up are taken at the meeting.
The club meeting for Arbor Day will be held at the Arboretum on 04/24/2020. The club will be dark at the Embassy Suites on that date.
The District Conference will be held year from 05/01/2020 to 05/03/2020 at the Westin Pasadena Hotel in Pasadena, CA.
The club’s annual Salute to Seniors will be held at noon on Tuesday 05/12/2020 at the community center. Members will be asked to work at this event . For further information, contact George Fasching.
The Rotary International Convention will be held in Honolulu, Hawaii starting 06/06/2020.
