Jack McRae and Eric Barter have announced that it’s time for the Arcadia Rotary Club to spring into action for the benefit of all the scouts who go to Camp Trask scout camp for fun and education.  Arcadia Rotary built the fort at Camp Trask and now it’s in need of some maintenance work.

So pull on your grubbies and bring a paint brush and a small bucket  – –  we’re doing some wood staining!  There will be a work party on Saturday, March 1^st at 9:00 am with a follow-up work party on Saturday, March 15^th. 

There will be coffee and donuts for the early birds.  After you’ve worked up a manly (or “womanly”) appetite, the “Hot Dog Man”, George Fasching, will be providing how dogs with all the trimmings along with chips and beverages.

So join in the fun and continue the tradition of hands-on service that has made Arcadia Rotary the “Greatest Rotary Club in the World”!

The Casino Night Planning Committee has been hard at works and asks every Arcadia Rotary member to put Saturday, March 8^th on your calendar for our club’s annual Casino Night, which will be held at the Arcadia Community Center. 

This is our club’s big fundraiser for the year and the proceeds will be used to fund all of our club’s projects for next year.  Every member has been kindly requested to sell (or buy) a $100 ad in the Casino Night Program.  President Mimi announced that those members who are unable to sell or buy an ad will be charged $100 on their Rotary statement.  Please contact Mike Real or Ray Bushnell for more information on the program ads. 

Also Frank Hall announced that there are still a few $200 dinner table sponsorships available for the event.  Please contact Frank for more information and to secure your table sponsorship.  Get ’em before they sell out!
