The RYLA students did an outstanding job running every aspect of our weekly meeting, including Fines and Recognitions.

Gina Post Franco fell for a magic trick and was fined.

Dr. Brent Foresee was hit hard for having to miss this meeting, no doubt because he was otherwise engaged in something great for his students. In any case, he was fined $1 per the 100 students who attended a recent high school event.

Mike Real, also strangely absent, was fined $.10 for every student who attended RYLA. I think there was some “Ryder” math as the end result was $35. If you know, you know.

Dr. Brent Foresee was fined again for Arcadia being in the top 2% of public high schools in the nation! To determine the fine, the students cleverly calculated the number of hours of sleep a random sample of five students present at the meeting got on average. One student immediately caught on to the strategy and said “11” hours, which may or may not pass the Four Way Test, but the remaining four students submitted answers squarely in line with said Test. A total of 37 hours for a $37 fine.

I am going to fine myself for texting for business during the meeting and not catching all the dollar amounts for the fines. When Finemaster, Ken Chan, returns he can sanction me accordingly.

Great job, RYLA students! You are our future leaders and we are proud.
