Let’s Recap! 4/26/24 Three contestants vied to win for the opportunity to move up in the Dan Stover Music Competition last Friday. The contestants were:
- Winner: Jiabi Li on the Basson.
- Finalist: Annie Yang on the Flute
- Finalist: Vania Fong on the Violin
Our club’s winner, Jiabi Li will go on to the Area competition in April (Duarte, Sierra Madre, Monrovia and Arcadia winners. The winner of that competition will compete in the region to be a finalist for the District Conference which exhibits the best of the best. Saturday lunch at the District Conference is usually host to the finalists of contestants from all 60+ clubs in our Distric, well worth the price of admission May 15-18, 2014 at the Hilton Palm Springs Resort.
