On Friday, August 14, 2009, William Patzert, a NASA JPL Oceanographer, addressed Arcadia Rotary, dishing out the official line of catastrophic global warming, placing the blame on man-made (post-industrial) carbon emissions. (It should be noted that Patzert’s superior, the Director of NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS), is none other than James Hansen, Al Gore’s “Science Adviser” and the leading ideologist of anthropogenic global warming alarmism.) While taking care not to depart verbally from his politically correct script, Patzert showed several satirical slides of Al Gore heating up the planet with his fiery breath.

2. The Fraud Exposed

In November of 2009 (some three months after Patzert’s presentation), it was disclosed through hacked emails of the Climate Research Unit at East Anglia University in Great Britain that “anthropogenic global warming” was never a scientific conclusion, but rather was from the outset a political hoax.

Phil Jones of the CRU in Britain in emails, with Michael Mann of the University of Massachusetts, and others, was revealed to having discussed how to manipulate data so as to “hide the decline” in temperatures since the Medieval Warming Period (AD 700 – 1300). One result of this effort was Mann’s now discredited “hockey stick” temperature graph, purporting to show a post-industrial sharp spike in global temperature (AD 1900 – 1998), while disregarding the higher pre-industrial temperature of the MWP (AD 700 – 1300).

This fraudulent graph was used by JPL’s Patzert to illustrate his talk to Arcadia Rotary.

After the revelation of the scandalous emails and the mysterious disappearance of his supposedly supportive data, CRU’s Professor Jones did an abrupt reversal. Jones even conceded the possibility that the world was warmer in medieval times than now (thereby suggesting that alleged global warming may not be a man-made phenomenon). Jones also admitted that for the past 15 years there has been no ‘statistically significant’ warming.

3. The Underlying Motive

Again in November (albeit a year later) we see unveiled the motive for the climate fraud. It is to redistribute the wealth, from the advanced, industrial nations, to the backwards, pre-industrialized world.

The source of the latest revelation is none other than the UN’s IPCC, the organization used by Al Gore to support his fraudulent claim of a global warming scientific “consensus” (a “consensus” composed of about four percent of the climate scientists on record, the vast majority – some 96 percent – being skeptics).

Ottmar Edenhofer was co-chair of the IPCC’s Working Group III and a lead author of the IPCC’s Fourth Assessment Report released in 2007 which (despite the absence of any scientific correlation) then controversially concluded, “Most of the observed increase in global average temperatures since the mid-20th century is very likely due to the observed increase in anthropogenic greenhouse gas concentrations.”

Now in 2010, the same Ottmar Edenhofer confesses: “. . . one must say clearly that we redistribute de facto the world’s wealth by climate policy. . . . One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy. This has almost nothing to do with environmental policy anymore, . . .”
