Let’s Recap! 4/19/24 - There is a need for more male adult facilitators. RYLA will take place on April 28, 29, and 30, including twelve RYLA Arcadia High students. (per Mike Real)
- Larry Callaham announced the next level of competition in the Dan Stover Music competition will take place at the Ramona Convent on April 11, 2017.
3. On Thursday, April 13, 2017, there will be a public school luncheon at Duarte Masonic Lodge. (per President Rosie Mares. See her for more information.)
4. On Wednesday, April 19, 2017, there will be a Board Meeting. (per President Rosie Mares)
5. Starting approximately April 15, et seq. there will be a kiosk at Arcadia’s Westfield Mall to advertise and round up contributors for the club’s second annual Field of Honor (which will be held at from May 20, 2017 through May 30, 2017 at Arcadia County Park). Volunteers are needed to man the kiosk. (per President Rosie Mares.) The opening ceremony is to be held on Sunday May 21, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. The cost per flag is $50; sponsorships from $500 to $5,000 are available. (Contact Bob Harbicht.) Dong Chang just brought in his seventh sponsor! Check with Teri Muse to man the booth (selling flags) at the Westfield Mall.
6.On Saturday, April 22, 2017 The District Assembly will be held at the Sitting bull Academy in Apple Valley, CA. All board members should attend. (per President Rosie Mares. See her for more information.)
7. Also on Saturday, April 22, 2017, Casino Night will take place at Arcadia Community Center. (Contact: Jim Pontello-Let him know who’s coming, and what auction gifts you can contribute.)
8. On Friday, April 28, 2017, it will be dark at the Embassy. Instead, Rotary will meet at the Arboretum in celebration of Arbor Day. (Contact: Jim Pontello.)
9.On Friday, June 30, 2017 the club will hold its installation dinner at the San Gabriel Country Club. We will be dark at the Embassy Suites that day. (Contact Eric Barter.)
