GOLF OUTING

Bruce McCallum asked all golfers to save the date of Nov. 11 when we will play at San Gabriel Country Club. He said there was no need to worry about your putts since they have caddies who will help you read the greens.

DINNER AND THEATER OUTING, OCT. 23D

Frank Griffith reminded us of the dinner at Barney’s Only Place in Town followed  by a presentation of Anna in the Tropics at the Sierra Madre Theater located across the street from the restaurant.

SHELTER BOXES FOR PAKISTAN RELIEF

Brad Miller is requesting more donations for the shelter boxes that are supplied to the Pakistanis who have been devastated by the floods in their country. Each shelter houses ten people and the District has a matching program in place for this very worthwhile project. Contact Brad for details.

MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, OCT. 25TH

The venue for this popular event will be Paul Kalemkiarian’s house with a steak dinner, football pools, etc., according to Bob Harbicht. Please sign up or let Bob know if you will be attending.

A.H.S. HOMECOMING, OCT. 8TH

According to Mike Ojeda, there will be a pre-party at Matt Denny’s starting at 5 PM before the homecoming event at the high school. We will get a chance to meet the homecoming court as well as witness the dedication of Arcadia’s newly renovated football stadium before the football game.

JUNIOR DIABETES RESEARCH FOUNDATION “WALK FOR A CURE” AT DODGER STADIUM, NOV. 7TH

Mike Ojeda encouraged us to participate in the 5K walk and get others to join us or be sponsors for this very worthwhile cause.

CASINO NIGHT AT THE DERBY, OCT. 8TH
