1. The Arcadia Rotary Board of Directors meeting will be held on Tuesday 08/20/2019 at 8:00 A.M.  at the Monrovia Boys and Girls Club, 600 S. Shamrock Avenue, Monrovia, CA 91016.
  2. The club will be dark on Friday 08/30/2019 for the Labor Day weekend.
  3. Monrovia Rotary Club is having its Casino Night on Saturday 08/21/3019 to be held at the Monrovia Museum.  The tickets are $50/person.
  4. Ray Bushnell is selling raffle tickets for $100/ticket for a chance to ride on the 2020 Rotary International Float in the Rose Parade on New Year’s Day.  Contact Ray Bushnell for details.
  5. Congratulations to President John Wilson for his daughter starting her freshman year at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.  That is a great accomplishment!
  6. At the Arcadia Rotary meeting on Friday 09/06/2019 we will be assembling care packages to send to the military, which is one of our main projects for the year.
  7. Reminder of the club’s family beach party which is set for Saturday 08/24/20 at Huntington Beach.  There will be a BBQ, boogie boarding and fun things for family and friends, young and old, to enjoy.  Remember to take plenty of sun screen.
