-Monday Night Football Event October 10th, 2016! As usual, it will be at the Kalemkiarian palazzo. Please sign up at the club meeting to let the organizers know the number for planning.

-September 28,2016 – Movie Night with Imy Dulake to see her Nephew’s Movie, The Magnificent 7. Heavily advertised, with plenty of big names. Tickets are $8 per person. Let Imy or John Wilson know if you can attend.

-The Breeders’ Cup will return to Santa Anita on Friday, Nov. 4th and Saturday, the 5th. There will be a Fan’s Festival on Wednesday, Nov. 2nd. Santa Anita is looking for 300 volunteers to work at the event. If you can help, please contact Katlyn at 626-574-6350, or go to their website, breederscup.com/groups.

– Wine Tasting Fundraiser – Make a Difference! For the battered women with children. Hors d’oeuvres, music, art, silent auction. At the Arcadia Women’s Club, October 22, 2016, 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. $50 per person in advance, $60 at the door. Francine Chiu needs silent auction items and food.

– Fort Rotary – This wonderful structure, built by Arcadia Rotary in 2003 is in disrepair. Please volunteer for the work party, to do some painting, drywall repair, etc, in October.

-Taste of Arcadia, Monday, Sept. 26th. If you haven’t purchased your tickets yet, please contact Gil Stromsoe or Karen MacNair. They are two for $60.

-Our Friday meeting on Oct. 7th will be held at Coco’s, corner of Colorado Blvd. and Michillinda. Our room will be open at 11:30. On Oct. 14th we will meet at Matt Denny’s for dinner at 6 PM. We will be dark at the Embassy Suites. Contact Pat Dolphin for more information.

-Rotary International Convention, June 10-14,2017, in Atlanta, Georgia. Brad Miller has secured 15 rooms at the Ritz-Carlton for $250 per night. Please contact Brad if you can attend.
