b. Sat., July 25, 2015, Arcadia Rotary Beach Day, 10:30 a.m., Huntington State Beach (Brookhurst entrance, Santa Ana River mouth), cost $10 per family (to cover burgers, dogs and drinks). Bring beach toys, boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas, snacks. Surfing lessons available. (per Mike Real.)

Sat., August 1, 2015, Relay for Life, 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Santa Anita Race Track, Infield (enter on Colorado Place across from Barnhart School/Pepper’s Restaurant), at Arcadia Rotary booth, Fee $25 per person donation. Sat., August 1, 2015, Rotary Family on the Town Club Mixer (with Arcadia, San Marino, and Sierra Madre Rotarians and our Families), 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Santa Anita Race Track, Infield (enter on Colorado Place across from Barnhart School/Pepper’s Restaurant). Entertainment: Miss Relay Contest, music, dancing, singing, our Luminaria Ceremony. Also available if ordered in advance for price: a light boxed summer supper (turkey or tri tip sandwich, trio of pasta, fresh fruit and corn salads, and dessert) provided by Fresh Gourmet for $20 check per supper. This can be ordered in advance by sending check and copy of flyer to San Marino Rotarian Lucille Norbert, 1872 West Drive, San Marino, CA 91108, (filling out first and last name, number of suppers [turkey or tri tip], total price enclosed check). Other teams will offer a variety of snacks and drinks.
