District Governor Randy Pote reminded us that the 2016 Rotary Foundation Dinner will be held on Saturday January 2, 2016 at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel in Ontario, California. Arcadia Rotary is trying to put a table or two together. Please see Ed Beranek for more details.

Gail Jensen, our Partners in Rotary President, is organizing the Christmas fundraising efforts and Rotary Partners’ Party at the home of Matt and Denise Weaver on Sunday December 6, 2015 from 3:00 to 6:00pm. This is the only Rotary Partners fundraiser. Please get your donations of restaurant gift certificates, sporting events, etc. to Gail by November 30, 2015.

Two Arcadia Rotarians were presented with their Paul Harris pins. Bruce Marrs was awarded his Paul Harris +6 pin and Ramon Oseguera was awarded with his Paul Harris +1 pin. Congratulations guys!

Finally, congratulations to our Teacher of the Year from Camino Grove Elementary School, Josie Chia. Josie teaches the 4th grade and has taught in the AUSD for 13 years. She attended Arcadia schools as a child and graduated from UCSD. Congratulations Josie!
